(Eagan, MN) — With the playoffs now out of reach, the Minnesota Vikings have activated their starting quarterback from the COVID-19 list. Kirk Cousins is expected to start Minnesota’s season finale after missing a pivotal week 17 game against the Packers because of the virus. The team also activated right tackle Brian O’Neill from the list. Four Vikings, including defensive tackle Michael Pierce, missed practice with injuries yesterday, and six other players were limited participants. Minnesota hosts the Bears on Sunday.
