Man Accused Of Throwing Deadly Punch Headed To Trial

(West Fargo, ND) — The man accused of throwing a deadly punch at a concert is headed to trial. Authorities say 36-year-old Tomas Cervantes punched 53-year-old Roberto “Bobby Balboa” in the early hours of August 21st while the two were attending a concert at the Speedway Events Center in West Fargo. Balboa was knocked unconscious and hit his head on the concrete floor, later dying of his injuries. Cervantes is charged with felony manslaughter and aggravated assault.
