NDSU Band Director Retiring

(Fargo, ND) — North Dakota State University music professor and Gold Star Marching Band Director Sigurd Johnson is retiring. Johnson will be stepping down following his band’s performance at the FCS national championship game between the Bison and Montana State. The 62-year-old joined NDSU as a professor of music in 2008. Johnson says he will miss many things about his experiences in the music program and has many fond memories to look back on.
