South Dakota Man is Charged After Mother Serves Pot-Laced Brownies to Seniors

A man in Tabor is facing a felony drug charge after his mother unknowingly served some brownies laced with marijuana to a senior citizens group. Bon Homme County investigators first learned something was up when they received calls about possible poisonings among some senior citizens. The group had been at a card game earlier that night and the mother of the suspect — Michael Koranda — served the brownies not knowing he had made the brownies with THC butter as an ingredient. No serious injuries were reported.
