Winter Storm Expected to Drop Several Inches of Snow Across South Dakota

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Driving across South Dakota could become risky this morning as a winter storm moves into the state. Northeastern South Dakota and east of I-29 will likely see the heaviest snow, with eight to ten inches of snow likely. Once the snow ends tonight, gusty winds topping 30 and 40 miles an hour will lead to blowing snow and low visibility on the roads.
