Bismarck Police Requesting Body Cameras

(Bismarck, ND) — The Bismarck Police Department is requesting body cameras. Bismarck city commissioners say they want the cameras too, but are hesitant about the cost, which could reach into the hundreds of thousands. Bismarck Police intend to make a formal request later in the year as part of next year’s budget. If the program is approved, the cameras could be implemented as soon as January.
