Wild Comeback Falls Short

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild couldn’t dig out off a three-goal hole in their 6-3 loss to the Dallas Stars at the Xcel Energy Center. After Nico Sturm started the scoring in the first period, Minnesota gave up four-straight Dallas goals, three of which came in the second period. Kirill Kaprizov made it a one-goal game with two goals late in the third, but Jame Benn and Jason Robertson scored for Dallas to secure the win. The Wild have dropped six of seven to fall to 32-19-and-3. They host the Rangers tomorrow night.
