(Pierre, SD) — The South Dakota House moving legislation forward that would provide funding for a cyber-security campus at Dakota State University. The 30-million dollar initiative is part of Governor Kristi Noem’s legislative agenda and receive the support of 56 House members. The allocation was initially rejected by the chamber’s budget-setting committee. The goal of the initiative is to double the number of DSU cyber-security graduates, and to bring permanent private sector tenants to the campus.
