Timberwolves Wreck Trail Blazers

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Timberwolves raced out to a 27-point halftime lead en route to a 124-81 rout of the Portland Trail Blazers at the Target Center. Minnesota led by as many as 46 points in the blowout as reigning Western Conference Player of the Week Karl-Anthony Towns poured in 27 points and grabbed 13 boards. The Wolves were without both Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell. The Wolves extend their winning streak to five games with the victory. Minnesota improves to 37-and-29 and will host the Thunder tomorrow.
