KAT Erupts For 60 As Wolves Down Spurs

(San Antonio, TX) — Karl-Anthony Towns’ historic night led the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 149-139 win over the San Antonio Spurs at AT&T Center. The Wolves center set a franchise-record for single-game points as he poured in 60, including 32 in the third quarter alone. The 60-point performance is the highest single-game individual showing in the NBA this season. Minnesota has won eight of its last nine contests to improve to 40-and-30. They host the Lakers tomorrow night.
