Twins Move Two Pitchers To Pen

(Fort Myers, FL) — The Minnesota Twins are shuffling their pitching staff. Manager Rocco Baldelli says that Griffin Jax and Lewis Thorpe won’t be competing for a spot in the starting rotation, but instead will be moved to Minnesota’s bullpen. Baldelli plans to give each pitcher two or three appearances a week during Spring Training, with each outing lasting one-to-three innings. Jax started 14 games last season, going 4-and-5 with a 6.37 ERA. Thorpe went 0-and-2 with a 4.70 ERA in four starts.
