(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild are making a splash with under week before the NHL trade deadline. The team sent center Nico Sturm to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for center Tyson Jost. The 24-year-old Jost is two years younger than Sturm, and he is under contract for next season, while Sturm is due to hit free agency after this season. Jost has six goals and eight assists in 59 games this season. The Wild are back in action tonight when they host the Boston Bruins.
