Woman Arrested After Slow Speed Chase In Grand Forks

(Grand Forks, ND) — A woman is facing charges after she refused to stop for police in Grand Forks. Police say 21-year-old Karley Litchy hit a road closure sign and drove through a closed construction zone and refused to pull over for the officer following her with lights and sirens on. The officer performed a pursuit intervention technique maneuver on the vehicle in the 500 block of North Third Street, bringing it to a stop. Litchy is charged with DUI, fleeing in a motor vehicle, driving under suspension, and was cited for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and open container in a motor vehicle. No one was hurt.
