(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota United are adding a former all-MLS defender. The Pioneer Press reports that the Loons are bringing Kemar Lawrence over from Toronto FC. The 29-year-old had one goal in 20 starts and 25 appearances last season. Additionally, the club announced yesterday that left back Chase Gasper is entering the MLS’ Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health Program for personal reasons. Gasper has not played in the regular season in 2022 after suffering a concussion on the preseason finale in February. The United host San Jose on Saturday.
