Jackrabbits Fall In First Round

(Buffalo, NY) — The South Dakota State Jackrabbits remain winless in the NCAA Tournament following a 66-57 loss to Providence in the first round at KeyBank Center. The 13-seed Jackrabbits played strong defense against the four-seed Friars, but they couldn’t get the offense going, as they shot under 39-percent from the field. Baylor Scheierman led South Dakota State with 18 points and ten rebounds. The Jackrabbits are now 0-and-6 all-time in the tournament, and they end 2021-22 with a 30-and-5 record overall and an 18-and-0 mark in Summit League play.
