Longtime ESPN Reporter John Clayton Dies

(Undated) — Longtime NFL and ESPN reporter John Clayton is dead. Clayton died Friday after a brief illness, according to his family. Clayton started as an NFL reporter in 1972, covering the Steelers for the Pittsburgh Press, eventually being hired by ESPN in 1995. He stopped working at the network a few years ago, most recently hosting a radio show in Seattle. Clayton was 67.
