Vikings Pay Hunter’s Roster Bonus

(Eagan, MN) — It looks like Danielle Hunter will be sticking around for the 2022 season. After reportedly trying to trade the defensive end last week, the Minnesota Vikings paid Hunter’s 18-million dollar roster bonus on Saturday. The move keeps Hunter in purple for the next two seasons, but he’ll count for 26-million against the salary cap for 2022. Hunter had six sacks in seven games in 2021 after missing all of 2020 with a neck injury.
