Wild Acquire Marc-Andre Fleury From Blackhawks

(Saint Paul, MN) — The Wild are acquiring a three-time Stanley Cup champion. Minnesota traded a conditional second round pick to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury. The pick will become a first round selection if the Wild make the conference finals and Fleury wins four games in the first two rounds of the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Wild also traded back-up goalie Kaapo Kahkonen to the Sharks for defenseman Jake Middleton, and sent Victor Rask to Seattle for future considerations.
