Person Involved In Jamestown Car Chase Sent To Hospital With Hypothermia

(Jamestown, ND) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 22-year-old male involved in a car chase ended up at the hospital with hypothermia. NDHP says the suspect drove off from a traffic stop Monday on I-94 near Jamestown before driving off road and becoming stuck in a slough. Authorities say he tried to swim away and hide for 90 minutes before being taken into custody. He was taken to the hospital in Jamestown before being transferred to a hospital in Fargo. A 20-year-old male and 20-year-old female left behind in the vehicle were detained by police.
