Report: Wild Extend Goligoski

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild have locked down one of their top defensemen. The Athletic reports that Alex Goligoski has agreed to a two-year extension worth two million dollars. With the move, Minnesota has six blue-liners already under contract for next season. The 36-year-old leads the team in plus-minus this season, and he’s scored two goals to go along with 26 assists.
