Republican Look To Maintain Majority In South Dakota Legislature

(Pierre, SD) — Republicans are looking to maintain the majority in the South Dakota Legislature. Democrats have left 26 Senate seats and 32 House seats open for the 2022 election, while Republicans are fielding a candidate in all but one of the 105 openings. Primary voting begins April 22nd, with party primaries on June 7th. The general election will take place on November 8th.
