State Oil Producers Face Possible Tax Hike

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota oil producers could soon face a tax hike. A trigger was put in place in 2015 that would raise the tax from ten percent to eleven percent if prices continuously average above 90-dollars a barrel for over two months. Last month was the first time since 2014 that the per barrel price averaged over 95-dollars.
