(Grand Forks, ND) — Police are investigating a report of an assault at a Grand Forks middle school. Police were called to Valley Middle School yesterday morning after an altercation between two students. One student was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The school was put on lockdown for less than ten minutes as the situation was dealt with. Grand Forks Public School officials say the fight was over a disagreement that happened over the weekend. No charges have been forwarded so far.
