Twins Beat Red Sox

(Fort Myers, FL) — The Minnesota Twins earned a 2-0 Spring Training win against the Boston Red Sox at Hammond Stadium. Bailey Ober made his final start of the spring and gave up just one hit in four scoreless innings. Miguel Sano and Max Kepler each hit solo home runs in the victory. In other Twins news, the team designated catcher Jose Godoy for assignment and selected the contract of reliever Danny Coulombe. Additionally, the team announced that starting pitching prospect Jhoan Duran will make the team’s Opening Day roster as a relief pitcher. Josh Winder takes the mound against Boston today as the Twins close out Spring Training.
