(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves couldn’t slow down the Washington Wizards’ offense in a 132-114 loss at the Target Center. The Wolves were outscored by 17 points in the second half. Karl-Anthony Towns poured in a game-high 26 points, as the Wolves fall to 45-and-35. They are now two games back of Denver for the number-six seed in the Western Conference, and Minnesota will need to win out and have the Nuggets lose out in order to avoid the play-in games.
