ND Routine Immunization Rates Drop

(Bismarck, ND) — Health officials say routine childhood immunization rates have dropped in North Dakota. The North Dakota Department of Health says vaccination rates for diseases such as measles, polio, and meningitis have declined during the COVID-19 pandemic. Health officials are using the Pay Attention to Prevention campaign to encourage residents to take action to protect themselves and their children against disease. The campaign is designed to raise awareness in coordination with National Adolescent Immunization Week which runs through Saturday. National Infant Immunization Week falls between April 25th and April 29th.
