(Minneapolis, MN) — Anthony Edwards is getting hot at the right time. The Timberwolves guard went off for 49 points in Minnesota’s 127-121 win over the San Antonio Spurs. The Wolves led by as many as 18 points in the victory and held off a late San Antonio rally. Karl-Anthony Towns chipped in with 21 points and 13 rebounds. The Wolves improve to 46-and-35, but they’re locked into the seven-seed in the Western Conference after Denver’s win over Memphis. After ending the regular season at home against the Bulls on Sunday, the Wolves will prepare to take on the Clippers in a play-in game next Tuesday at the Target Center.
