(Sioux Falls, SD) — A tribal leader is criticizing Governor Kristi Noem for her executive order banning the teaching of Critical Race Theory in South Dakota K through 12 classrooms. Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Chairman Harold Frazier issued a statement yesterday saying Noem was acting “in true dictator fashion.” Frazier condemned the order for “all the polished ugliness that it represents.” He also said Noem’s order doesn’t represent the type of leadership his tribe deserves.
