(Pierre, SD) — Newly released videos and documents show a series of traffic stops involving Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg in South Dakota, Nebraska, and Iowa. Video shows Ravnsborg was stopped in July 2019 for speed while in uniform and on the way to a National Guard exercise. He was also pulled over in July 2020 for speeding, again in July 2020 for drifting from his lane, and in September 2020 when he had to slam on his brakes when a vehicle pulled out infant of him. In each instance, Ravnsborg identified himself as the Attorney General. He was given a warning during all four stops.
