Power Surge Leads Twins Past Mariners

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins crushed six home runs in a 10-4 win over the Seattle Mariners at Target Field. Byron Buxton led off the bottom of the first with a solo shot, and Gary Sanchez added a grand slam later in the inning. Buxton finished the game with two home runs, while Max Kepler, Jorge Polanco, and Carlos Correa also went yard. Bailey Ober allowed four runs in five innings to pick up the win, which is Minnesota’s first of the season. Dylan Bundy starts for the Twins tonight in the series finale against the M’s.
