Wolves Comeback Falls Short

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves couldn’t complete a late comeback in their 124-120 loss to the Chicago Bulls at the Target Center. The Wolves trailed by as many as 28 points at the end of the second quarter, but they cut the deficit to one with under two minutes left in regulation. From there, Ayo Dosunmu hit a couple of big shots to keep the Wolves at bay. Nathan Knight led Minnesota with 17 points. The Wolves get seventh place in the Western Conference at 46-and-36, and they’ll host the Clippers in the play-in tournament tomorrow night.
