Xcel Energy Adding Crews For Storm

(Bismarck, ND) — Xcel Energy officials say the company is bringing additional crews in case customers lose power during the heavy snow hitting most of the state. Hundreds of Xcel employees are on standby across North Dakota and Minnesota if heavy snow and wind lead to outages. Xcel says customers can assist crews by not touching downed power lines and keeping natural gas meters clear. Officials are also reminding people to use safe heating appliances and to never leave a space heater unattended.
