(Pierre, SD) — The number of behavioral health facilities across the state is growing. Governor Noem and the Department of Social Services are using American Rescue funds to develop more facilities. The state will spend three-million-750-thousand dollars each year, for the next four years, on construction and expansion. The goal is to have at least one facility in all five behavioral health regions in South Dakota.
