Hot Start Leads Wild Past Oilers

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild scored the first five goals of the game in their 5-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers at the Xcel Energy Center. Minnesota had three goals in the second period to take total control heading into the final period. Kevin Fiala and Ryan Hartman each scored a pair of goals, and Frederick Gaudreau also lit the lamp. The Wild remain tied with St. Louis for second place in the Central Division with 96 points.
