Twins OF Kiriloff Heads To IL

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins are making some roster moves. The team placed Alex Kiriloff on the 10-day injured list with a right wrist issue. The injury is on the same wrist that the outfielder had season-ending surgery on last year. Kiriloff is just one-for-17 to begin 2022. Trevor Larnach was recalled from Triple-A to take his place. Meanwhile, Minnesota also designated reliever Jharel Cotton for assignment after just two appearances with the team. In a corresponding move, the Twins selected the contract of reliever Dereck Rodriguez. Rodriguez gave up three straight home runs in his first game with the Twins yesterday.
