(Pierre, SD) — The South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources is investing one-point-one-billion dollars into environmental projects across the state. That includes about 415-million in grants and 688-million in low-interest loans. The money will go toward drinking water and wastewater projects. Governor Noem says they’re projects that “will serve our grandchildren and their grandchildren.” The Board of Water and Natural Resources approved the funding at yesterday’s meeting in Pierre.
