Dairy Industry Impacted By Last Week’s Blizzard

(Bismarck, ND) — Dairy farmers across the state are suffering massive losses on account of last week’s blizzard. One such farmer outside of Dickinson reportedly had to dispose of eleven-thousand pounds of milk. The reason: the milkman couldn’t get to the farm to pick up his product because the roads were too packed with snow. Now, farmers are waiting as the last of the snow is cleared from the roads so they can unload their milk, clear their tanks, and get back to milking.
