Augustana Names First Hockey Coach

(Sioux Falls) Garrett Raboin, an assistant coach for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, will lead the fledgling Augustana hockey program. The thirty-seven-year-old Raboin played college hockey at St. Cloud State and has been an assistant coach with the Huskies and the Gophers. The Vikings, who are set to begin to play in 2023-24, will be the first NCAA hockey program in South Dakota, and the first sport at Augustana to compete at the Division I level.
