(Williston, ND) — Pastor and Williston High School graduate Chris Walstad is set to fill a vacant seat on the district’s school board. Walstad won yesterday’s special school board election with 63-percent of the vote. Jonathan Greiner was the next closest of the four candidates with 19-percent of the vote. Walstad was endorsed last week by the Williston Education Association. He takes over for Thomas Kalil, who resigned last year.
