Twins Get Blanked By Royals

(Kansas City, MO) — The Minnesota Twins managed only five hits in a 2-0 loss to the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium. Minnesota got a runner in scoring position just twice in the loss, and they failed to capitalize on both opportunities. Chris Paddack fell to 0-and-2 after giving up two runs in five innings. The Twins have lost four of five to fall to 4-and-8. Joe Ryan gets the start for Minnesota as the Twins look to avoid the sweep against Kansas City today.
