ND Highway Patrol Trooper Hit By Drunk Driver

(Bismarck, ND) — A North Dakota Highway Patrol Trooper is okay after being hit by a drunk driver. The trooper was hit early yesterday morning while manning a road closure gate on I-94 near mile marker 147. The trooper was able to move the squad car to avoid a head-on collision and was side-swiped instead. No one was injured in the collision and the crash is under investigation by the Morton County Sheriff’s Department and the NDHP.
