(Eagan, MN) — It looks like the Minnesota Vikings may have a new center in 2023. The Pioneer Press is reporting that the Vikings are not expected to exercise Garrett Bradbury’s fifth-year option, which would cost Minnesota over 13-million dollars. The 26-year-old was the 18th overall pick in 2019 and has started 45 of the team’s 49 games since being drafted. However, he began last season as a back-up to Mason Cole before getting his job back due to injuries elsewhere along the offensive line. The Vikings must make their final decision on Bradbury’s option by May 2nd.
