(Williston, ND) — A western North Dakota blizzard has knocked out power to thousands. The blizzard hit the area over the weekend and was the third major snowstorm in the state over the last two weeks, knocking down hundreds of electrical poles. Poweroutage-dot-us reported yesterday afternoon that about 14-thousand people in the state were without electricity. The majority of those are Montana-Dakota Utilities. MDU officials say it could be at least a week before some people get power back.
