ND GOP Not Calling For Release Of Holmberg Texts

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota’s Republican Party leaders are still not calling for the release of controversial text messages allegedly sent by state Senator Ray Holmberg. Holmberg is facing allegations that he sexually assaulted a man in 2010. He’s also accused of exchanging text messages with Nicholas Derosier who is incarcerated on child porn charges and is facing multiple federal charges of child sex abuse. The Democratic-NPL wants the messages Holmberg exchanged with Derosier while he was incarcerated released. The Republican announced his resignation Monday, which will be effective June 1st.
