SD GFP Spends Nearly Three Million On Road Work, Bridge Replacement

(Pierre, SD) — The South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks Department are sharing how it has spent some of its funding. Secretary Kevin Robling announced to the South Dakota Transportation Commission yesterday that the department had spent nearly three million dollars on road work and the replacement of the bridge. Robling says the work was done to make it easier for visitors to reach popular state park and recreation areas. The Transportation Commission agreed yesterday to shift another nearly three million dollars toward construction for the upcoming season. Robling says GFP spent another six million from its budget for roads in 2021.
