Traveling Statue Introduced At Missing, Murdered Indigenous Women’s Day

(Bismarck, ND) — A traveling sculpture will be used to spread awareness about missing and murdered indigenous women. The red statue features a heart in the middle that will hold photos or fliers of missing women. It was unveiled yesterday on North Dakota’s Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women’s Day. It will be displayed at various businesses and will serve as a fundraising tool to raise money for volunteer efforts to search for missing women.
