Twins Give Up Two Late Homers In Loss

(Baltimore, MD) — Jhoan Duran gave up back-to-back bombs in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Minnesota Twins fell to the Baltimore Orioles 5-3 at Camden Yards. Austin Hays and Ryan Mountcastle each took Duran deep. The reliever was tagged with his first career loss. Byron Buxton launched his eighth home run in the losing effort, and Carlos Correa exited the game in the seventh after he was hit by two pitches. Minnesota lost two straight and split their four-game series with the O’s. The 15-and-11 Twins send Josh Winder to the mound against the Oakland A’s at Target Field tonight.
