(Fargo, ND) — Governor Doug Burgum is headed to the northeastern part of the state today to survey flooding in the area. The governor and other state officials are meeting with local leaders from Grafton and Cavalier to assess the impact of the recent flooding. Additionally, officials will be assessing the local and statewide response to the recent flooding. The goal is to see if there are better ways of handling future disasters in the area.
