Wild Collapse In Third Period

(New York, NY) — The Minnesota Wild gave up three goals in the third period during a 4-1 loss to the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. The Rangers scored the only goal of the first period, but Brandon Duhaime lit the lamp in the middle of the second to tie the game. New York scored in the second minute of the third to take the lead for good. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 24 shots in the losing effort. Minnesota is in sixth-place in the Central Division with 12 points and a 5-6-and-2 record. The Wild visit Buffalo tonight.
