(Sioux Falls, SD) — A South Dakota organization is set to oppose Amendment C. The Board of Directors for the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce released a statement yesterday stating their objections to Amendment C. The amendment would require 60 percent of voters to approve any ballot measure involving changes to taxes or spending over ten million dollars. The Chamber says the measure should have been placed on the November ballot rather than the June primary election ballot.
